Down in The Underworld
在這冥界之中
奧德修斯在冥界遇見了被波賽頓淹死的士兵們、
被獨眼巨人殺死的摯友波呂忒斯，以及他的母親安提克勒婭，
安提克勒婭正是因為過度思念遠征的兒子，憔悴而死。
《奧德賽》中的安提克勒婭亡魂告訴奧德修斯老家伊薩卡的現況，提到他的老父、妻子與兒子，
而奧德修斯也告訴母親自己一路的遭遇，他曾經嘗試擁抱母親，
但冥界的鬼魂沒有實體，他的手臂總會穿過安提克勒婭透明的身體，
在三次試圖擁抱母親失敗後，奧德修斯才終於放棄。
EPIC對於這段母子會面的處理更簡約，但同樣讓人心碎，
Jorge本人曾經表示，這些亡魂角色在〈Underworld〉中的歌詞，
全都是他們在臨死前腦中的最後想法，所以沒錯，
波呂忒斯直到臨死依然堅信世界美好、安提克勒婭在臨終也依舊思念並愛著遠方的兒子。
至於奧德修斯在這裡反覆唱誦的副歌，其實來自特洛伊傳奇的棄稿〈Ismarus〉。
這首歌原本被安排在〈Full Speed Ahead〉與另一首棄稿〈Your Light〉之間，
是奧德修斯與波呂忒斯在船上的一段對話，有興趣可以來這裡聽聽看。
最後補充一個溫馨向的小彩蛋，
在這首歌裡演出奧德修斯母親，安提克勒婭的歌手不是別人，
正是由Jorge的媽媽Wanda Herrans親情客串，
不知道這個彩蛋讓各位覺得稍感安慰，還是更虐了呢？
