前情提要：
在與泰勒馬庫斯聊過後，雅典娜決定主動修復與奧德修斯的關係，
為了找出奧德修斯現在身在何方，雅典娜得將時間回溯，
查出自兩人分道揚鑣以後，奧德修斯在這十年間到底經歷了什麼事。

歌曲開頭對先前各章傳奇的回顧被Jorge稱為「時空深潛」(Time dive)，
大致上就是雅典娜運用神力一一追溯她不在場時奧德修斯這幾年的經歷，
我將屬於「時空深潛」的歌詞以那個傳奇的主題色上色，包含獨眼巨人傳奇(The Cyclops Saga)、
海洋傳奇(The Ocean Saga)、喀耳刻傳奇(The Circe Saga)、冥界傳奇(The Underworld Saga)、
以及雷霆傳奇(The Thunder Saga)。
接著登場的是熱愛囚禁PLAY的女神卡呂普索！
前幾句歌詞看起來還是無害的戀愛腦甜妹，
後面逐漸露出恐怖情人的面目與女神的真身，那個反差真的讓人毛骨悚然(稱讚)。
有一些說法表示卡呂普索遭到詛咒，
會愛上每一個來到自己小島的英雄，但是他們永遠不會回應她的感情。
可惜我找不太到這個論點的出處，相關的英文討論文章都跟波西傑克森系列小說有關，
所以這個說法可能並不來自古希臘文學。
《奧德賽》中的卡呂普索沒有被詛咒，也沒有被困在自己的小島上，
她純粹是恰好救了漂流的奧德修斯後，決定把這個帥哥強行留在自己身邊。
雖然島上的的美食美酒與美景應有盡有，但無論待遇再怎麼好，
也改變不了奧德修斯是在非自願狀況下遭到囚禁的事實。
EPIC裡的奧德修斯就跟原著裡的狀況一樣糟，有著嚴重的憂鬱傾向與自我了結的念頭。
他站在懸崖邊時想起的三位故人分別是「被動失去」的好友波呂忒斯、
被他「主動犧牲」的同伴歐律洛科斯，以及「遠在家鄉」的母親安提克勒婭。
辜負了這麼多人，奧德修斯不但沒能回家，還得被迫留在這座島上跟任性的女神玩過家家，
無論是誰遭遇這種鳥事，能撐整整七年還沒徹底崩潰也是奇蹟。
最後奧德修斯在幾乎崩潰時的求救終於傳到雅典娜耳裡，
同時讓雅典娜下定決心要救出受困的老朋友，
過去一度決裂的兩人終於在此重新建起聯繫，
第一次聽完整首曲子的我真的在電腦前激動到嗷嗷亂叫。
