Aspiration,
Is but a human illusion.
Beneath the galaxy's light,
How much sorrow and pain does it hide?
You,
hear The desperate symphony fate has supplied?
Melody,
So sorrowful yet sweet,
The prosperity of earth,
Holds death and sorrow in its heartbeat.
I,
Wander alone in the cold, barren streets.
Riding fast across the plains,
Chasing dreams I can't contain.
Sailing on the endless sea,
Seeking dreams that won't come free.
Whether longing or dreams,
Whether the sea or the plains,
Whether riding or sailing,
Whether Aspiration or despair remains,
All turn to stardust,
Wandering in cosmic chains.
You, perhaps like me,
Obsessed with a dream of heaven so free,
You, perhaps like me,
Yearning for a gleaming, golden spree.
But unlike you,
I've long stopped yearning for heaven's glow,
For the golden brilliance you see,
Is but a dream, in a world below.
Under illusion, the world seems grand,
In greatness, the light does stand,
But after the shine, what remains to show?
A false world, where dreams don't grow.
What leading us~
Toward silent despair below.
