【奧莉拉娜】簡訊上說的地點……就是這裡吧？
【卡蒂雅】嗯……小心點……要是看到什麼可疑的人我們就直接逃跑……
兩人小心翼翼的穿梭在樹林之間，尋找著她們的目的地。至於她們的目的地究竟是哪，還得從早上的那封簡訊說起。
【奧莉拉娜】卡蒂雅！大事不好了！
【卡蒂雅】怎麼了？
【奧莉拉娜】妳看這個！
奧莉拉娜急急忙忙地將手機遞給卡蒂雅。
【卡蒂雅】『妳好，我是一名可憐的女孩子，我沒有被綁架，但現在需要妳到底下這個地點來救我。等我得救之後，我答應妳給妳一年份的宵夜作為回報。詳細情況有點複雜，等妳到現場我會一一向妳說明?！?/font>
卡蒂雅念出手機螢幕上顯示的簡訊內容，眉頭逐漸緊縮。
【卡蒂雅】不不不，這怎麼看都是詐騙吧？
【奧莉拉娜】雖然有可能是詐騙沒錯。但如果是真的呢？有一個可憐的孩子正等著我們去救她！
奧莉拉娜激動的拉著卡蒂雅。
【奧莉拉娜】我剛剛查過了，她給的地點離這裡很近，我們趕快過去吧！
被奧莉拉娜拉著走的卡蒂雅滿臉無奈，但又拒絕不了天真的奧莉拉娜。
【卡蒂雅】（算了，反正要是真的有壞人我應該也能解決……而且我也有點好奇到底是什麼人會發這種騙小孩的簡訊。）
不知不覺間，兩人已經深入樹林。
【奧莉拉娜】卡蒂雅……那裡好像有什麼動靜……
【卡蒂雅】那是……魔鼠狼！這裡居然會有魔物，趕快解決掉——
【奧莉拉娜】等等！妳看，它好像在發抖。
【卡蒂雅】不是，姊妹。魔鼠狼是沒有智慧的低階魔物，妳之前也打過很多次吧？
【奧莉拉娜】我感覺它有點……不太一樣。
奧莉拉娜緩緩將手伸向捲縮在角落瑟瑟發抖的魔鼠狼，試圖讓它冷靜下來。
【奧莉拉娜】如果是普通的魔鼠狼，我的手早就被咬掉了。它沒有攻擊我，就代表它有點不一樣吧？
【卡蒂雅】原來妳有自覺手會被咬掉嗎？
奧莉拉娜溫柔的撫摸著魔鼠狼的金屬腦袋。
【魔鼠狼】???……
魔鼠狼發出了一連串的機械聲，似乎在試圖傳達什麼。
【卡蒂雅】這是……機械語……
【奧莉拉娜】糟了，我們兩個都聽不懂機械語，沒辦法跟它溝通。
卡蒂雅沉思片刻，隨後拿出手機。
【卡蒂雅】我們還是求助專業人士吧。
【卡蒂雅】『喂，我找芬妮克絲博士?！?/font>
【故事2：可笑的姿態】
【卡蒂雅】呃……我聯絡的是芬妮克絲，怎麼來的是妳？還穿著這套衣服……
【奧莉拉娜】原來瑟菈有這種癖好……
【瑟菈】聽我解釋……
瑟菈羞紅著臉，向眾人說明事情的來龍去脈。
【瑟菈】因為芬妮克絲在做實驗無法過來，她就委託我來協助妳們。至於為什麼會穿成這樣……芬妮克絲是說這衣服有內建機械語翻譯機。只要穿著就能翻譯機械語。
【卡蒂雅】噗，真的是這樣嗎？
【瑟菈】少囉嗦！別用那種「我只是想滿足癖好所以亂講」的眼神看我！
【奧莉拉娜】那麼，瑟菈現在聽得懂這孩子說什麼了嗎？
【瑟菈】我、我試試看……
【魔鼠狼】???！
魔鼠狼再次發出了一連串的機械聲，這次似乎比剛剛放鬆不少。
【瑟菈】『人家叫做小鈴，今年剛滿十八歲！』
瑟菈的語氣像是刻意裝可愛的小女孩，反差的樣子惹得眾人哄堂大笑。
【奧莉拉娜】噗……
【卡蒂雅】哈哈哈哈哈哈哈?。?！
【瑟菈】不、不準笑！
瑟菈的臉已經比蘋果還要紅潤。
【瑟菈】可惡……為什麼會連她的語氣都一起還原！好想挖個洞把自己埋了……但是我已經答應芬妮克絲……不管怎樣都要把任務完成！來吧！臭魔鼠狼，把妳想說的通通說出來！
一陣溝通之後，眾人終於明白魔鼠狼的遭遇。
【卡蒂雅】簡單來說，小鈴原本是個大學生。因為玩遊戲手氣太好，一直抽到同學抽不到的角色，所以被同學詛咒變成魔鼠狼……這怎麼看都像是瞎掰出來的吧？
【奧莉拉娜】瑟菈，妳確定妳沒有翻錯嗎？
【瑟菈】她確實是這麼說的，而且她也沒有說謊。
【卡蒂雅】妳怎麼知道？
【瑟菈】這件衣服裡面除了翻譯機，還內建測謊儀。
【卡蒂雅】這衣服未免也太多功能了……
【奧莉拉娜】如果她說的是真的，那麼找我們來到這裡的目的…….
【卡蒂雅】就是為了幫她解開詛咒吧。

認真思考對策的眾人，絲毫沒有發現一群野生魔鼠狼包圍了樹林中的大家。
【奧莉拉娜】魔鼠狼？他們是小鈴的朋友嗎？

【瑟菈】『怎麼可能啦！他們是聞到人家的美少女氣息才聚集過來的發情公魔鼠狼！嗚嗚嗚，人家還是處女，可不能被這些醜八怪玷汙……』

【奧莉拉娜】卡蒂雅，妳還記得我們之前在一棟古宅處理過的靈異事件嗎？

仔細一看，小鈴的身上還保留了許多魔鼠狼的零件，緊緊黏在她的身上。
【卡蒂雅】雖然變回人形了，但卻沒有完全脫離魔鼠狼的樣子……
【芬妮克絲】『我猜可能是因為詛咒過於強大，僅僅一百抽沒有辦法完全消除小鈴身上的所有詛咒?！?/font>
【小鈴】嗚嗚嗚……我該不會真的要一輩子維持這個樣子吧……
【奧莉拉娜】別難過了小鈴……既然妳變回人形就代表這個方法是有效的。只要多抽幾次，總有一天妳一定可以恢復原狀的！

【Story 1: A Doubtful Message】
【Alana】The message said that we were supposed to meet... here?
【Cartilla】Hmm... Let's play it carefully... If I see even one shady-looking character then I'm high-tailin' it outta here.
The two of them cautiously weave their way back and forth through the forest in search of their destination. As for where their destination might actually be, you'd have to start with the text message they received that very morning.
【Alana】Cartilla! Something terrible's happened!
【Cartilla】What is it?
【Alana】Look at this!
Alana urgently presses her phone into Cartilla's hands.
【Cartilla】"Hello. I'm a poor, unfortunate girl. I haven't been kidnapped, but I do need you to come and rescue me. Once I'm rescued, I promise to reward you with a whole year's worth of snacks in return. The details are a little complicated, but I'll explain everything in person once you get here."
Cartilla reads the text aloud, her eyebrows gradually drawing together into a frown.
【Cartilla】Oh, no no no no. This is such an obvious scam, can't you see?
【Alana】True, it might be a scam. But what if it's real? There's a poor little girl out there just waiting for us to rescue her!
Alana pulls at Cartilla's side, agitated.
【Alana】I just checked the location she sent us, and it's not far from here. Let's hurry there and check it out!
Cartilla's face is screwed into a reluctant grimace as she's pulled along, but she simply can't refuse Alana and her naivety.
【Cartilla】(Ahh, so what? Even if there is some bad guy waiting for us out there, I'm sure it's nothing we can't handle ourselves... Besides, I'm curious to see just who's out there sending scammy messages to innocent girls.)
Before she knows it, the two of them are already deep in the forest.
【Alana】Cartilla... I think I heard something over there...
【Cartilla】It's... a Panther! What are monsters doing here? We'd better take 'em out, quick and snazzy-
【Alana】Wait! Look, it's trembling.
【Cartilla】Uh uh, no way, sis. Panthers are brainless, low-level monsters. You've fought enough of them yourself, haven't you?
【Alana】But I feel like this one's... a bit different.
Alana slowly reaches out a hand towards the Panther that's curled up and quivering in a corner, and attempts to calm it down.
【Alana】If this was an ordinary Panther, my hand would've been bitten clean off by now. It's not attacking me, so there must be something different about this one, you think?
【Cartilla】Are you trying to feed it a finger sandwich or something?
Alana tenderly strokes the Panther's metallic head.
【Panther】???......
The Panther emits a string of machine-like noises, as if attempting to communicate something.
【Cartilla】That's Machinese...
【Alana】Oh no! But neither of us knows how to speak Machinese. There's no way for us to communicate with it.
Cartilla falls silent for a moment, then takes out her cell phone.
【Cartilla】Then we'd better call in a professional.
【Cartilla】"Hello, paging Dr. Phoenix..."
【Story 2: A Laughable Outfit】
【Cartilla】Uhh... I called for Phoenix. Why are you here instead? And what the hell are you wearing...?
【Alana】So this is the kind of thing that Sera's into...
【Sera】Let me explain...
Sera blushes as she recounts the story to them.

Sera seems to be putting on a cute, girly voice on purpose. The stark contrast with her appearance has the other two roaring with laughter.
【Alana】Ahah...
【Cartilla】Bwahahahaha!!!
【Sera】N-no laughing!
Sera's face is now as red as a tomato.
【Sera】Dammit. It's even replicating her tone of voice! If only the earth would just open up and swallow me right here... But I promised Phoenix... that I'd complete this mission for her, no matter what! Come on then, you stinky little Panther! Spit it out, whatever it is you want to say!
After a little more communication, they finally come to understand the Panther's predicament.
【Cartilla】So, in a nutshell, Bella here was originally a university student. And then, because she had such great luck at gacha games and was always pulling the characters that her classmates all wanted, they cursed her and turned her into a Panther... What the hell kind of bullshit story is that?
【Alana】Sera, are you sure you haven't made a mistake somewhere?
【Sera】That's exactly what she said. And she's not lying, either.
【Cartilla】How would you know?
【Sera】This outfit doesn't just have a translator built into it. There's a lie detector, too.
【Cartilla】That sounds suspiciously multi-functional to me...

【Alana】I'm just thinking that since all these problems were brought about some sort of curse or another, maybe we have to solve the origin of the curse before we can lift it, just the same as last time. Bella was cursed because she was getting so lucky with her gachas, so if we find a way to make her draw a string of lame pulls...
【Cartilla】You think that'll lift the curse?
【Alana】It'll balance out her karma!
【Cartilla】That sounds so ridiculous that it might just work. Take out your phone, Bella. It's time for a grand gacha gamble!
Urged on by the others, Bella pulls out her phone and makes a hundred pulls right there in front of their faces.
【Cartilla】It can't be... What's the probability of pulling an SSR on this game?
【Alana】It says 0.2%...
【Cartilla】So is it normal for her to pull 12 SSRS out of a hundred?
【Bella】??????!
【Sera】"Hahaha, I'm the chosen girl. Not even a curse can put an end to my luck! Screenshot those pulls so I can flex 'em on everyone else!"
【Cartilla】Tsk. Suddenly I'm not so sure I wanna help her lift that curse anymore. Maybe you should stay that way for the rest of your life!

Just as everybody is at a loss for what to do, a reassuring voice comes from somewhere on Sera.
【Phoenix】"Hello? Can you hear me?"
【Story 4: A Pitiful Crew】
【Phoenix】"I've heard the whole story already through the bug I've planted on Sera's body."
【Sera】Don't say that like it's the most natural thing in the world!
【Phoenix】"I thought you might end up in this situation, so I installed a karma disruption device on Sera in advance. But it's a little dangerous, so it can't be used until I've activated it remotely."
【Sera】How many goddamn thingies did you plant on me...?
【Alana】A karma disruptor...? What's that?
【Phoenix】"Everyone's been there before, haven't they? Whenever you want to pull A, you only ever pull B, and when you wanna pull B you keep pulling A. I did a lot of research into this phenomenon and discovered that there is indeed a link between probability and desire. And that's the theory that the karma disruptor uses to block such phenomena from occurring, resetting the odds back to normal. It'd be pointless to say any more about it. I've activated the device now, so get Bella to make another hundred pulls and let's see what happens."
Bella does as Phoenix says and presses the pull button.
【Alana】They're all Ns, except for the guaranteed Rs... So is that the normal probability?
【Bella】??!
【Sera】"Waahh... I saved up those diamonds for so long..."
【Alana】Look, guys, look at Bella now!
The party follows Alana's gaze to Bella, whose body is now glowing with light.
【Bella】?......
【Sera】"What's happening to me..."
After a burst of bright light, Bella's body goes through a great transformation. Before their eyes, she's no longer the Panther she was, but a young girl again.
【Bella】Am I back to normal again?
【Alana】Wait a minute, it looks like there's something else...
Upon closer inspection, there are still a few Panther parts left on Bella, stuck fast to her body.
【Cartilla】You're human again, but you haven't totally shaken off the Panther look...
【Phoenix】"I'm guessing it might be because the curse was so strong. Just a hundred pulls won't be enough to lift it all."

【Alana】Don't worry, Bella. Since you're human again, that means it's working. All you have to do is make a few more pulls, and eventually you'll be back to your old self again for sure!
【Sera】Alana's right! You just keep on pulling. I'll balance out your karma and you'll be back to normal again in no time, lickety-split!

【Cartilla】Sera... pff-haha... Did you just say "lickety-split"?

And while they're all teasing and joking with each other, the curtain comes down on this wonderful rescue caper.
