一個臀形的身體，短小的手臂和腿，還有一雙總是盯著看的眼睛。這就是「Butty」的描述。那麼，創造「Butty」的靈感是什麼呢？我想分享一個故事。
Butty 的角色靈感來自一位在倫敦出生的華人朋友。他講廣東話，帶著英國口音。他是我圈子裡唯一一位有英國口音的朋友。他常以友善的方式說髒話。我覺得他說「arse」而不是「ass」的方式很有趣。正是這個想法啟發了 Butty 的誕生。這個角色的設計基於我朋友的原型——「酷、總是罵髒話、心胸寬大，有時候不在乎任何事」的個性。
上面的圖畫是 Butty 的第一次草圖，靈感來自於我朋友。它有濃眉毛、小圓眼，偶爾喜歡抽煙。最初，我打算根據不同的朋友個性，創造一些基於不同身體部位的角色。更多的內容，我會在下次的部落格文章中分享！

Making Butty: 001
A butt-shaped body with short arms and legs plus a pair of always staring eyes. That’s the description of butty. What is the inspirations behind making butty”butty” ? I want to share a story.
Butty’s character was inspired by a friend who is a London-born Chinese. He speaks cantonese with British accent. He is the only friend in my circle that has British accent. He swears a lot in a friendly way. I found his way to say “arse” instead of “ass” fascinating. It is how the idea of butty was started. The character was designed base on my friends original - “cool, always swearing, has a big heart and sometime doesn’t care shit” personality.
First Original Butty Draft
The drawing above is the first draft of butty was inspired by a friend. It has thick eyebrows, small round eyes and like to smoke sometime. Originally, I wanted to create characters base on different body parts with my other friends personality. I will talk about it more in the next blog posting!
