這這是一首老歌了，2010年由「Foster the People」，一個獨立流行樂團發佈的歌曲。會知道這首歌是因為一些迷因短片用這首歌當背景音樂，感覺很喜氣。但我也沒想到歌詞如此黑暗，要是聽不懂英文的人會覺得很適合。

(我要發點牢騷，Wiki那個甚麼中文翻譯，Foster明明就是主唱Mark . Foster的姓，為啥要翻成擁抱人群樂團？覺得有點亂翻，Foster the People直接翻成福斯特的家人們還差不多。)

其實我是很久沒想翻譯歌曲了，不過最近偶爾才知道這首歌，覺得很有意思便決定趁著興致還有來翻一翻。

在這之前我先聊一下這首歌曾經被禁這件事，這首歌是出於2010年九月十四號。由於歌詞涵義相當黑暗，甚至在2012年「Sandy Hooks Elementary School Shooting」事件發生後，一度被禁。

「Sandy Hooks Elementary School Shooting」這事件是美國有史以來數一數二嚴重的校園槍擊案，總共二十八人死亡，其中二十人只是小學生。由於Pumped up Kicks這首歌的歌詞有很多地方幾乎都會讓人聯想到此案的場景，所以在2012年槍擊事件發生後，此歌一度被禁。

翻譯備註：

#1 got a quick hand：原意是手很快，這邊翻成反應敏捷只是修辭上的更改，其實原意不變。

#2 six-shooter gun：Six Shooter是左輪手槍的別名，因為左輪手槍只有六顆子彈。

#3 Pumped up Kicks：氣墊鞋的英文，其實也在影射有錢人的孩子，因為氣墊鞋真的挺貴的。

#4 reason with my cigarette：這邊應該是指在與自己的香菸說話，自言自語

#5 Your hair's on fire, you must have lost your wits：看似在說香菸點著的狀態，其實是在自言自語表達自己已經失去理智的狀態。
