A cat and a dog have been living together for a decade.
Inside the cabin, in the forest far away from metropolis, with birds chirping harmoniously, under the darkening shadow, hearing the gentle wind, the cat and the dog sit by the table and take their steaming hot coffee.
"Cat, we have everything here. Foods from waterside, tools left by human, books presented by former owner of the cabin, what else is your desire?" Dog asks out of pure interest.
"I cannot elaborate, Dog." Cat finishes her drink and makes a click on the table. "We've been living here peacefully, plus we own several good friends in the forest, have made innumerous adventures. Even so, somehow I feel there's something we're missing. "
"Don't tell me that you would love to experience somewhat sorrowful events. " Dog frowns deeply with disturbed eyes. "Remember last time ol' duck's dead beside the legendary tree, everyone's crying all day long? You cried too. "
"You got me wrong, Dear Dog. " Cat touches the sill with her soft right paw, watching the lofty clouds moving above layers of trees. "It's a feeling like......living in a small world and never got to know the truth of why we live. You know the proverb from China?"
"Yep, a frog in a well or something. "Dog sighs, and he cannot help but laugh with funny dog accent. "I wish we can accomplish something meaningful, that everyone in the forest would cry so harshly for our death. "
