Dear Readers:
As the new year approaches, I’m taking stock of this blog. I have written consistently for 15 months on topics I believe progressive individuals in nonprofit would be interested in. Planning for 2012, I ask for your input on issues in nonprofit communications and management you would like me to address. For new readers, my background is in public relations (M.A. communication) with significant experience in the public/nonprofit sector, and a certificate in nonprofit management (see ‘bio’ tab above for more information).
SEND ME YOUR SUGGESTIONS
Please e-mail column ideas directly to dambrosiojames@yahoo.com or comment below. While I may not be able to address all suggestions, I’ll make every effort to take on those within my scope of experience, education and knowledge that haven’t been covered. (Review ‘archives’ section on right).
In a larger sense, this column is not about me — it’s about you, the readers — and providing ideas and information nonprofits can use to operate more effectively. Given the well-documented long-term struggles facing the sector, we all need to keep thinking about how nonprofits can remain viable and fulfill their missions helping others.
Please take some time to think about topics important to you and the agency you work for. I look forward to hearing from you. Best wishes for a happy, healthy 2012!
Sincerely,
James D’Ambrosio
