一、劇情:

本作是Life is strange的前傳，
講述Chloe Price和Rachel Amber相知相識的過去、Rachel的身世。
玩家雖然無法操作裡主角-Rachel，
但透過表主角Chloe的選擇和視角，
玩家可以了解到前作(其實本作也是被捧上天，除了某個婊子以外)被眾遊戲角色拱在天上的Rachel究竟是個多麼強(qiáng)大(STRONG)、有天賦(TALENTED)、敢愛敢恨的女孩。

此外，透過本作我們可以了解到:  
Victoria Chase果然是個賤人~在前傳充分表現(xiàn)賤人就是矯情的特色
Nathan Prescott則是迫於其父的壓力，充滿自卑、沒自信、壓力很大的個人特質(zhì)。而也因為其家族事業(yè)做太大，被不少人(Drew North)所忌恨，進(jìn)而霸凌。
總總原因演進(jìn)下去，最終變成的「魔頭小幫手」(可恨之人必有可悲之處)
Max果然是Chloe的前最好的朋友(謎之聲: 真愛)，Journal裡面不時要提一下Max(直到和Rachel Amber混熟後，Rachel才慢慢變成最好的朋友(謎之聲: 真愛)

二、遊戲性、獎盃、結(jié)局的分歧性:

Chloe和Life is strange中的Super Max不同，只是個平常的人類，沒有Rewind這種作弊技能用。
所以本作Chloe只能使用對話(Backtalk)「嘴炮」安撫、套話、騙人、嗆人(如果嘴炮不成功，劇情還是可以走下去，只是就會吃點苦頭、繞遠(yuǎn)路)。

獎盃則是和Max這拍照狂不同，充分展現(xiàn)Chloe塗鴨狂的本事。

值得一提的是，本作的各種「選擇」前後牽動、多多少少會影響人際關(guān)係，尤其是有些選擇會影響到最後的結(jié)局-「Rachel和她父母的關(guān)係」(衝著Rachel可以見到她媽的結(jié)局，之後考慮二刷)，
這點明顯優(yōu)於Life is strange(...前面選什麼不重要，反正最後的選項選好即可...)。

三、美術(shù)與音樂

本作美術(shù)和音樂一樣維持高水準(zhǔn)。
本作音樂多來自Daughter(女兒樂團(tuán))，有興趣可以上youtube試聽(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6BNzHYUNpik )，此團(tuán)主唱-Elena Tonra的呢喃式唱腔配上吉他、效果器，營造出獨特的空間感。
至於美術(shù)，也許是我的錯覺，我覺得本作某些人物的臉部和動作模組做的有點怪，尤其是Rachel的表情和動作模組有時候讓我有點出戲。

四、中譯:

只有簡中。而且翻譯的品質(zhì)不穩(wěn)定，如果英文能力許可，建議切英文字幕遊玩。

五、Deluxe Edition:

此版本除了Before the storm EP1~EP3外，還有衣服、Exclusive New Mixtape Mode 和Bonus Episode-Farewell。

Exclusive New Mixtape Mode不是OST，本模式有音樂有影像，但使用上需要切入遊戲使用，反而不如多數(shù)作品可以直接透過STEAM-音樂的撥放功能直接聽OST。

Bonus Episode-Farewell建議要買來玩，
這段故事是講Willam Price出門去接Joyce Price之後，Max和Chloe最後一次扮演海盜的小故事。
玩家扮演Rewind技能未覺醒的Max，玩玩最後的海盜扮演小遊戲、拍拍照，更要選擇是否要和Chloe說她一家將搬家到西雅圖的事。
而無論選了說或不說，喪禮結(jié)束後Chloe房間都會出現(xiàn)Max預(yù)錄的錄音帶。 (這錄音帶出現(xiàn)的時間點很令人玩味，有人認(rèn)為是未來的MAX留給Chloe的留言)

六、小評:

有些玩家會抱怨本作和前作(後傳)的關(guān)聯(lián)性並不大，的確如此。
不過本作本來就是要描述Rachel和Chloe二人的個性和友情(基情?)，用這點來評論這遊戲或說這遊戲賣情懷，有失公允。

而本作在各種選擇的重要性和關(guān)聯(lián)性比前作的呈現(xiàn)要好，玩家的各種選擇會確確實實的改變一些細(xì)節(jié)，甚至結(jié)局。

儘管遊戲中並沒有出現(xiàn)Max(Bonus Episode才有)，但透過Chloe的日記，玩家的的確確可以知道Max還是Chloe的重要精神支柱(直到後來和Rachel在一起之後 <3)
總體而言，個人覺得這款遊戲還是很有意思。個人喜歡本作，更甚於後傳~後傳的選擇設(shè)計實在是太差了，最終選擇和前面的各項選擇毫無關(guān)係...

Life is Strange: Before the Storm is set three years before the Life is strange.
It is about how Chloe Price met with Richel Amber, and how they become the best friends[spoiler](lovers?)[/spoiler].
Playing as Chloe, we will understand how strong, how amazing, how talented Rachal was.
And we will interact with other old friends, such as Victoria Chase (Pretentious biXch), Nathan Prescott (with no confident, feeling of inferiority).
Depending on out choices, we will decide the ending ([spoiler]the relationship between Rachal and her family[/spoiler], etc.)

Trophy and Ending:

Unlike Super Max, Chloe is just a normal girl.
She can't rewind the past, but she can use "backtalk"(lip service) skill to change other's thinking, even let her get what she wanted.

Max is Photo Queen, and Chloe is Graffiti Queen. So, the player must collect every graffti and witty tags to get trophies.

Compared with Life Is Strange, the ending of Before the storm depends on the choices player make.

Artwork and Music are still good.
Most songs is from Daughter (Band).

Deluxe Edition:

I strongly suggest if you wanna know more about Max and Chloe, you must play the Bonus Episode-Farewell.
In story of "Farewell", we play as Max with no superpower, enjoyed the last Pirate games between Max and Chloe, felt the pain of farewell between Max and Chloe, between Chloe and William.
