It's no secret that the NGP -- Sony's Next Generation Portable -- is a 3G device that will allow players to connect to the Internet from wherever they are. However, Sony hasn't announced anything about 3G when it comes to prices, carriers and so on. That might change next week at
E3 2011.
An inside source has told IGN that Sony Computer Entertainment America is contacting developers and publishers about a 3G "symposium" hosted by AT&T next Wednesday at E3. When reached for confirmation, an SCEA representative said that the company does not comment on rumor and speculation.
IGN's been predicting that the NGP picture would become a lot clearer next week at E3 2011, and announcing a 3G plan seems to fit with that idea. What do you think? Will we know everything about the NGP when E3 is over in a week? Let us know in the comments below.
